View Full Version : Gina24 to a Lynx Two?

Anyone graduate from an Echo Gina24 to a Lynx L22 or Lynx Two? Was it
worth it?
Seems that my Gina24 sounds pretty decent on tracks recorded
elsewhere, but not so great on my own stuff. My recordings sound
grainy, muddy even though I have a Grace 101. I have been mixing some
tracks recorded on a 2" Studer, then exported to Pro Tools as 24 bit
..wav files through an Apogee AD-8000. As you might expect, they sound
great compared to my stuff. An equivalent AD/DA is outside my
financial constraints right now. So, from what I've read the Lynx
cards are very good sounding and I can live with the limitations of
the L22 standard configuration.

TIA,
