Hello,
Could you propose Something cheaper then Wharfedale diamond 10.6 or 10.5
pair. I'm trying to find pair of speakers for my stereo system based on
Onkyo TX-SR507 EU. In my opinion There are more similar class of
speakers but currently I'm out of actual knowledge of models. Could you
propose similar products ?

Thanks in advance,
Grzegorz Polak

Well, price points vary around the world, so how can we help unless
you tell us what these systems cost in your part of the world? PSB is
one Canadian company that makes nice speakers in the low-end financial
range, and Klipsch and the Harmon group do the same in the USA, along
with, no doubt, others, but the price is going to depend on whether
your country levels import duties on them, among other things.

There are a number of European firms that make good competent speakers
in all price ranges. Given that the price point is right any one of
them is likely to serve you well. Listen to a bunch and buy the one
you like.

True enough. I recently saw where a man in GB was complaining because the
new, and highly rated Magneplanar MG-1.7s (I've heard them, they are VERY
good sounding speakers, easily bettering some other highly-touted speakers
costing 5X what the Maggies cost) which retail for under $2K in the States
are almost (the equivalent of) $3K in the UK.
