That's unfortunate. Do you know, a few years back he seriously considered
manufacturing moderately priced audio equipment in the US? A shame nothing
came of it.

Not pro audio.

Had I included the consumer companies, the list would have about doubled in
length.

Americans are too high priced to be used to make low cost audio gear.
