Hi guys, long time, no talkie! I've been trying to find a good online
jukebox for my music website, and I figured I'd get some good advice
here, as usual.
I used to be table to give away free MP3s of my songs on MySpace
for fans to download into their iPods, etc, but with the current
jukebox it seems MySpace no longer allows that.
Can anyone here recommend a good online music jukebox with which
I could do this on my own website? Ideally I'd like the visitor to be
able to listen to tunes while on the website and then either download
the song for free, or for a donation if they chose.
Also, I have videos for many of these songs, so it would be cool
if the jukebox could optionally connect the visitor to the video as
well.
Thanks for any jukebox recommendations!
Cheers, Rick.
P.S. I need to set up a music Facebook page too, but haven't looked
into it yet. Would giving away MP3s be possible via Facebook?

Embedding an mp3 in HTML is pretty easy

Don't think about it that way. You have two things that happen: first
you put the mp3 file up on the server so that someone could download it
directly given a url pointing to it. There is nothing magic about mp3
files, they are just files and they get downloaded the same way any other
file would.

Then you put the url pointing to it on your website.

Now, this might require getting a real hosting provider instead of Facebook,
but ten bucks a month will get you a Panix account.

Thanks guys!
I've been getting a lot of recommendations for SoundCloud.
Anyone have any experience with them?
Cheers, Rick.
