Just wanted to thank everyone that responded to my last posting on whether
or not to repair my wife's 1927 Marantz turntable.
Found a new belt on Ebay for $8, just installed it and the turntable works
like it did way back when.
Glad I asked here before chucking it :)

Uh...make that a 1972 turntable<g>

Well I should hope so, if you're comparing your 1927 model to the 1972
model. Stereo and all that :-)

Don't feel bad - it amazes me how often and badly my fingers misfire while
I'm typing nowadays. I think my fingers are trying to use a cipher for
security.
