Danny T (Taddei) frequents this and other music-related forums.
Beware - he may request your friendship or connection on FB or
LinkedIN and then deny doing so later. He may even have some "robo"
mechanism doing this for him.

He requested my friendship some time ago on FB and I accepted because
I knew who he was. After months of reading his almost daily right-
wing political and religious postings, I deleted him as a friend of
FB. Then last spring, he requested my friendship again, and like an
idiot, I accepted again. In March, he also requested me to be a
connection on LinkedIn and I accepted. He denies ever having created
his LinkedIn account - he says it was automatically created for him
(go figure that one).

Please beware of Danny. He is a right-wing NUT case and if you cross
him (by asking him to prove or validate the outrageous things he
posts), he can get down right ugly. He even threatened me with a
lawsuit for emailing him (even though he emailed me directly on FB
himself).

In any event, if you accept him as a FB friend please know what you
are getting into. It appears as though he sends out these
solicitations just to promote his "island" music. He has over 1700
"friends".

reason I put a message here is to warn people about him soliciting
frienship no FB, which he basically does to help promote himself (as
we've seen today). Reporting him to FB or LinkedIN is a completely
separate issue which didn't even need to get brought up.

I've probably had good audio production topical
conversations with you, and have with Danny in the past.
From his postings over the years I had a good idea where his political leanings were. I don't care to argue same with
him, or with anyone else in this forum.
I've probably engaged in good topical conversation with you
as well.

I might even like some of his music, or yours for that
matter. dON't know, no web access here, and I don't listen
to country radio where I might have heard DT. But I know
respected people in the profession have left this forum
because of the political discussions and bs in past years.
I'm sure I"ve heard Dave Martin from Nashville's work, for
example, and he no longer posts here. Same with Fletcher,
and many others.

WE all get sucked into this bs online. I've been a system
operator of a dial up bulletin board, off and on anyway,
since the early '90's. IT's quite easy for otherwise
reasonable folks to get sucked into this sort of thing.

We've all done as you did, and got the whole thing rolling.
Please, just think before you hit that magic send button
next time. IF you're gonna report the guy to whatever net
abuse folks you're going to then do that, but now, make it
one sided if the other guy keeps it up or escalates.

Same pointed in Danny's direction. sO, in the grand usenet

FYI - I did a little research on "Smoke 2 Joints" (his airplay) and it
is written by Chis Kay (Jean-Christophe Kay) and his brother. Danny
boy tells me that Chris Cay (he mispelt his own name) was his stage
name in The Toyes. Well it appears as though this is not true at
all. Danny was indeed in the band for a short while but I don't think
he had anything to do with the song. I have found the real Chris's
web site (Mawg is his nick-name) and have written to him about this.
It will be very interesting what he has to say - I cannot wait!

OMG - you claim that you didn't even know about your LinkedIn account
until I told you about it and then you even thanked me.

Danny - you did me a favor by deleting me as friend on FB - I should
have never accepted your second request. I had to block your email
because you kept sending me threatening emails. You just couldn't
take the heat when I and others simply asked you to verify some of the
outrageous things you were saying. Then you got all ****y and started

FYI - well, well, well - I heard back from Maug Toye (Chris Kay) of
The Toyes today, and he has never heard of Danny Taddei. Danny says
that he played keys for The Toyes in the 80's but Barry Boudreau
played keys for them, not Danny (and Barry Boudreau was not Danny's
stage name). Danny also told me the "Chris Cay" was his stage name so
apparently that was a lie as well.

Danny actually claimed to be in The Toyes on his Wikipedia page, which
was deleted TWICE (on 13 February 2010 and on 19 March 2008) because
"Article about an eligible subject, which does not indicate the
importance or significance of the subject". I suspect that Danny
originally created the Wikipedia page.

Wow, you did the right thing. Thank you for not making me get

Now I'll tell you something - The Toyes are, or at least were a fully
owned band, meaning the names and everything about it was the property
of the the record company. You're new friend is not an original member
and though there was a barry in the band for a short time, he was the
drummer.

Having said that, I wish I did more self promotion. That is the only
way you make things happen in the music biz. If you don't promote
yourself, who's going to do it for you? Maybe that is why I have so
many fans that love my music and you have how many? Oh sorry, none!

I know who is promoting me. That fan club person told me and I thanked
them. I don't know how to do that wiki thing so I'm glad she did it
for me and I hope she keeps it up.

actually feel sorry for you. In fact, if you'd shut your self up I'd
forget all about you but then again, you did just threaten me again

What is really funny is that I hardly play anywhere, don't really
promote myself and have never contacted the radio stations that are

I didn't threaten you so stop being childish again. In fact, you
threatened to launch some script on my google login when I made posts
to these forums. I simply said that if you do that I would contact my
lawyer. To date, you haven't done that (yet).

Please realize that when I see stuff about you on Wikipedia, I get a
LAUGH because it confirms what I recently learned about you - that you
are a narcissistic person (and probably spoiled rich kid) who will
resort to make up stories about yourself that are not true, e.g., The
Toyes.

If you were such a "considerate" guy you'd advise your "fan club" to
stop modifying the Trop Rock topic - this is now the 2nd time they've
done that and Wikipedia keeps removing it, just like they removed that
topic about you. You don't desire to be on that topic and nobody in
the world (besides your wife) would write a Wikipedia article about
you except yourself.

Bone head - My wife is not the lady with that title and I don't think
she really has some fan club. Also, that trop rock page should have me
on there. I'm one of the better known trop rock guys.

Now, for threats, you just posted a threat this morning:

power (legal et al) in my means to go after you. My attorney is Mark

I have a friend that launched a script that changes that inflammatory
header of yours back to your name. When you threatened me I decided to
call your bluff. I'm going to continue to screw with you because you

mouth is or shut the hell up.

apply this script to my IP address. To my knowledge, you haven't done
this.
