What's it been, over a month now?
That's too bad, I hope they bring them back as they were a great
source of info from other users.
Kind of like RAP, you can get a very specific, detailed answer about
something usually in less time than you spend on hold with the
manufacturer's phone line.
Forget about getting email back (not just Tascam, most companies)...
User forums I bet cut way down on the stupid phone calls and emails
that companies get.
Speaking of gear support, one thing I will mention, I called Sony Pro
a while back about getting a part, and they said they had to "research
it".
I figured "that's it, I'll never hear back.
Lo and behold about a week later some other guy calls me with the part
number, description and price.
