Is there a fuse on the amp?
Use a 12v power supply that is a little higher than that
If there is a 15 amp fuse on the amp use a 20 amp power supply
20 amp fuse, 25 amp supply etc
The bigger the power supply the better

Its likely you will get less than 16 wpc at 12 volts. You need 13.8 volts or up to 16 volts max.
Fuse at 5-6 amps.
