I'm going to build one of these from a Marshal MXL V67 (its prettier then the
2001). Anyone who has done it, can you give me any pointers on what to watch
out for? Its looks pretty straight forward, and I heard it actually sounds
great. I have a few hours before my rhyming and stealing next week so I guess
I'll do it then..

I have built two from 2001's. Just take your time and be neat. Use quality
components and sheild the bare wires from the tube. Make sure you have no cold
solder joints.

Does anyone have the URL to this mod. I've been wondering if it could be
done on the 990...
