Hi!
Is there anyone inhere that knows the specs of UTC N-9722?
It's pulled out of a old medical instrument (wery messed up)
That had some 11 tubes in it. - Five of these were 6SN7 RCA's. :-)
Thanks in adwance!

Do you know what medical instrument it came from? That number was
not a regular model, probably a special order of some sort.

Hi!
It came from a pulsegenerator made to stimulate muscels...
- Simply called "Stimulator"
And made by Grass Instruments Co. Quincy 70, Mass. USA
It was made of mil spec components...
The tubes inside were 5*6SN7, 2*0D3, 6AU7, 6SJ7 and 5V4 All RCA late '50es.
Well, reckon i have make some measurements... But they'll not tell about max
currents.
Thanks for your interest! :-)
Kind regards
Tonni

Is it a power transformer or output? Tried to find it in
old UTC catalogs, but it wasn't listed anywhere. "N"-prefix was
assigned only to mil spec models, that's a fact.

Hi again!
It's a mainstrannie. And the only iron found in the device!
Both the cabinet and chassis are out of alu. :-)
Think I'll have to try a direct contact with Grass Instr. - As You suggest
There could be a small chance they still have some specs...
Will let You know if something turns up!!!
Once more, many thanks for Your help and suggestions!!!
Best regards
Tonni

What rating is the AC line fuse? Since the rectifier is a 5V4 the
total DC current is not that great, according to my manuals. This
transformer may be too small for a serious power amp. Lots of luck.

It's fused 3/4 A @ 220 V So i guess you're right! But 165 VA could fit a
preamp nicely! So i guess thats what it'll be up for... Or perhaps as
separate trannie for a input/driver in a poweramp... But well see if Grass
Instruments has something on it! - If they even bother...!
