I bought this from Sam Ash Nashville 2 weeks ago to see what all the fuss is
about. Now I know, its an extremely open smooth and nice mic for the money. I'm
selling it because I never really intended to keep it, I have a ton of other
mics including my U47 and clients just won't take the MXL 69 seriously when its
next to the big bad U47, although the sound of the MXL is nothing to joke
about. Very nice mic, I bought it for 330 new, and I'm selling it for 260
paypal. I have the Sam Ash Receipt too from two weeks ago... The mic is NEW.

Well yes, I'd rather have 260 then a mic that no client is going to want to
use. I have sound files of the mic and can post them right next to sound files
of my U47. They sound different but neither sounds BETTER. I bought it
because its near impossible to find a dealer who will let you borrow a mic like
that. So I bought it, tried it, and now its up for grabs. And the David
Correia special on it is 249.95...

I'd like to hear some side by side comparisons just for the heck of it.

I got a whole bunch of soundfiles to post, keep checking my page for a link
towards the very bottom, it'll say like pro audio tests or something. Got a
few different mics I'm comparing, give me like a day or two.
