I just love seeing the names Neve & PAIA in the same heading.

I have fond memories of my later high school and early college days building
MANY kits by PAIA. Exciting, if not a little frustrating, times. I sure
learned a lot about electronics trouble shooting and modifying those kits. I
wish every manufacturer would include a block diagram, schematic AND design
analysis with every product built. Knowing what a particular section is
supposed to do and what they key / controlling components are is really
helpful if not inspiring.

<< I was giggling as I typed it....
My first 'studio' was mostly PAIA and home made stuff-mic's, pre's,
compressors, guitar pedals... >>
I still have a few PAIA circuits gathering dust under the bed... an incredibly
noisy 4X2 line mixer, a Synthespin, a couple noise generators with filters
attached to them. Good stuff to learn how to make electronic music on. I
presume their current designs are much improved.
