When are these guys gonna start making the la3a again? They are
starting to sell for more than an 1176. Has anybody heard of any
plans?

Dunno how plentiful the T4B opto-isolator is.

Last time I spoke to parts at JBL/UREI there were over 1000 on hand.

Anthony DeMaria Labs also sells one, and I heard a couple la3's that
used them and they sounded damn nice. (Mine have the Urei part and they
sound damn nice too ;>) ADL will also rebuild yours "at a fraction of
the cost."

Something interesting, I had my pair up at Alactronics (Wellesley, MA)
in the past year, it was something minor they took care of, and they
told me that one of my opto's was beginning to go. It was on the one I
love the sound of the most for vocals. I told them Don't Touch It!
