Yet another dirty trick by Scottie Witlessmongrel's beloved republicans has
backfired. The so-called "birthers" had filed a lawsuit claiming President
Obama had forged his birth certificate and was not a real American. Today, a
judge laughed the lawsuit out of court. Here's the AP report:

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Barack
Obama's qualifications to be president of the United States.

US District Judge R. Barclay Surrick on Friday night rejected
the suit by lawyer Philip J. Berg, who alleged that Obama was
not a US citizen and therefore ineligible for the presidency.
[snip]

Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case,
saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was
"too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing
on any and all voters."

In effect, the judge told Berg to get a life. I wonder what's next for the
"real Americans" who pant after Sarah Pailin's every dropping.
