Wait for Rev. B of NEW G5?

UPGRADE Current G4:

So to upgrade my 733 g4
$600 PowerLogix Dual 1000 G4 Upgrade Card
$200 Pioneer DVR-A06
$200 Another Internal Hard Drive
= $1000 to upgrade a G4 to last another year or so...

NEW G5's:
No operating ‘true' operating system yet... New G5 buyers will have to
install a new operating system ‘panther' released at end of year.


WAITING GAME:

Possibility of power5 processor next year with multi-core

New keyboard and mouse coming later this year or next
+ new displays with the ichat camera built-in

Rev. A bugs fixed

I guess that depends on what you can and can't do with what you've got.
If you can work with your current system, why the rush to change it?

Wait, especially if you want a dual processor unit. The price will soon
drop, and a dual 3 gig will be a reality within about 9 months...Also most
of the new G5 units have been having problems as far as the 5 people I know
that have recieved them tell me.
