Nice attitude. Perhaps if you had used an even remotely more
descriptive 'subject' than "Help" in this extremely active newsgroup,
you might have caught the attention of someone that actually would.

With just a little thought and effort up front, you probably would have
quickly had your answer, and not made a thoughtless, asinine follow-up
post that suggests you're an asshole and leaves you less likely to get
help in the future.

How about if you had put in the subject "Looking for Alesis LF driver"
instead of "Help"? Not that anyone here owes you the sweat of their balls...
but generally, if you don't make it too difficult, most of the folks here are
more than happy to share information that can be of assistance... it ain't
about 'ass kissing', it's about using common sense efforts to solve your
problem of the moment.

If you consider a clear and concise description of your problem as
"groveling"... then you have larger issues than just needing a woofer... much
larger issues [BTW... it's best to change drivers in sets... but that's
probably best discussed on another day].
