You do have an installation guide, don't you? If not, go here:
http://www.digidesign.com/support/docs/Getting_Started_with_001.pdf
In case you didn't know, you don't use the "Found New Hardware" window. When
it opens, just leave it open and find the setup file on your cd.

Thanks yeah I did see that online before I installed. I think the problem is
that we downloaded the installer from their website & the CD we put it on
doesn't recognize it or the installer itself that I put on the hard drive isn't
being recognized...the hardware found the drivers, says everything is cool but
it isn't.
Probably just need to get a 6.1 installer from them. It still seems to work
decent with Nuendo though..and that's a pleasant surprise

If you have PTLE v5.1.1, you should be able to download 5.3.1. You will need
the auth code from the inside cover of the getting started manual(hope you
have a manual!). It would be wise to be on DSL or cable, 'cause it's a big
mutha. around 500meg. I don't think dial up could d/l it anyway. I seem to
remember trying back when I was on dialup, and it not working.
