1622 has no output. Why?

Getting input signal on channels 5 and 6 but no output. I've been all
through Hardware, Peripherals and Disk I/O menus and can find nothing.
Stereo output is enabled.

Any suggestions?

Wow when I first saw the title I thought "Alesis 1622 Mixer" and was
gonna say "because it's a POS!"

I'd say double check all your cabling, especially anything analog
going to/fro.

I once spent 90 minutes trying to figure out something like this with
my DAW, figuring the whole time "it must be the computer or the
interface".

Walked around the back of the rack, reseated all the analog I/O and
then discovered the offending channel has slipped out of the TRS jack.

I always blame the computer or the software first, but very often it's
that obvious thing you don't check because "it can't be that".
