I don't want to stray too far, but Pearl changed its name some years ago to
Milab.

However, there is also a company called PML (Pearl Microphone Lab) which broke
off from Milab in the process.

And there is a river and town called Pearl River somewhere in Guangdong.
Hantien soy sauce is made there. For all I know, somebody could be
marketing a Chinese microphone under that name.

Pearl River Bridge is great soy sauce. I like the mushroom flavored
superior dark. Yum.

I believe there are also Pearl River pianos from China - NOT
regarded very highly by the experts.

The reason it appears in that search is because this text appears on the
page:

'Gold High Science Electronic Co., Ltd. lies in Enping City, the famous
producing base of microphone in Pearl River Delta, and abuts on Guangzhou,
Hong Kong, Macao. The traffic is very convenient.'

Pearl river microphones my arse.

PS. They look like a right old pile of crap.

Have they tried marinating the mic in the soy sauce?
