I used to hear this in the 80's when I was working as a carpenter at various
job sites:

No, this isn't the original song. It's a recreation by me just so you can
identify it, hopefully. Anyone know the name/ group?

Thanks,
John

It's called "I'm an Asshole ****ing Spammer." Written and performed
by the original poster.

All I heard was an advert for Tanqueray(sp?) gin.

You know, I thought this was supposed to be a pro audio group. If that were
the case, I fail to understand some of the inappropriate comments made in
response to my inquiry. If you want to claim OT, ok, you can do that, but I
see a *lot* of OT stuff posted here that goes answered without incident. I
asked for a simple answer to a simple question. If you didn't know, what
respond at all? Rick, you're a low life scum bum with nothing else to do
you creep, why don't you go back into the dirty hole you came out of, loser.
You're the type of SOB nobody wants to hear from because nothing but ****
comes out of your mouth, you jerky turkey. Get a life little boy. You
other two guys, I'll reserve judgement at this point since I don't know what
your intentions were. If it was to follow suit to Rick's filth, then shame
on you. If not, then I apologize.

Now, I repeat, does anyone know the name of that song? Don't bother
replying if you're going to be a Ricky lowlife as I now have the **** filter
in place.

Thank you,
JohnSoy

Ignoring the juvenile name-calling, perhaps if you posted the recording
somewhere that was more accessible, some of us might be able to
actually hear the clip and reply.

The clip is a pitch for a get-rich quick scheme.

Thank you, that response is reasonable. I entertain your suggestion as to a
suitable location for posting. The services I used to use all started using
timers, coding, etc and that was the first one I found that didn't, however
if you can suggest something better, I'm all ears....

It woud appear that NONE of us have actually heard your clip.
We have all heard various commercial advertersing messages.
Did you try it yourself? Can you hear the file you uploaded?

Just for refrence what is it? How will we recognize that we are
hearing your file and not something else? I've never seen an
onlilne file sharing place before that had this audio advertising
stuff before.

If you want a more legitimate file sharing place see...

Ok, I'll try a different server. Try this:

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=8786529576883b115bf1f12f1ff3f30ae04e75f6 e8ebb871

That will take you to a page to start the download.

The file contains a part of the tune I'm trying to identify. It is played
with a trumpet.

I hope this works. If it doesn't and you still can't listen to it, I'll
find yet another way.

This will be interesting to follow.

I heard the clip. I had to download the file to my machine and play it
there. It wasn't a song I know, so I had nothing to say, but there is a
clip there, a recording of a trumpet playing a bit of a tune.

That said, it could be more accessible.

Geez, what a bunch of wimps. Good thing he didn't tell you to go to a
record store
and buy it.

Next time, if 100 MB is enough, try http://drop.io

You can play an audio file on line, you can password-protect your files,
and you can
set a time when it will self-destruct (get deleted from the host server),

It sounds annoyingly familiar, John. Sorry I can't place at the moment
but I will get back to you if I can remember.

Is it "Eye in the Sky" by Alan Parsons Project?
