Hi,
I've got a mixwiz 16:2 with a few problems - I'm (still) waiting for a
service manual from Allen & Heath, but until I get hold of one, has anyone
seen a schematic online anywhere?

Many thanks
John

There's a schematic for a Mixwizard 14:4:2+ online here -
http://www.allen-heath.com/DL/wz1442ug_ap3435_2.pdf . Scroll all the
way down to the bottom, and you'll see it.

That's a block diagram, not a schematic.

hello,

I've just fixed some problems on a wizard 16.2 one week ago:

Loss of bright & level on tracks inputs: change electrolytic condensers
(47µF 63V)
loss of level on track input: repair broken copper track (a little
difficult to see without magnifier)
hope it help you

best regards

Hi
Testing this thread even if it is quite old. I have no input signal on my first channel, changed the capacitors yesterday and I'm suspecting a broken track. Can you point me in the right direction where it might be broken?

No, but a meter set to continuity test will help you. Stab the solder joint
on each end, see if it beeps. If it doesn't, stab one solder joint and a
spot in the middle of the trace.

Cracks mostly appear around pads, and mostly in places around things like pots
and connectors where the board flexes during normal use. But sometimes you
get some really weird cracks in odd places due to manufacturing defects that
take decades to show up. Or due to boards being deformed in place.
