Dear ladies, gentlemen,

Could anyone give me the name of a good audio rental company in New York?
We'll be shooting a documentary film there and want to rent the equipment
over there. Equipment needed:

Fostex PD4
Sennheiser MKH50 or 60
Two MKH40's
Tram Lavalier
zeppelin + boompole

Another question we would like to see answered if we need a carnet to import
audio and film equipment into the USA, or is this excluded? We have a
difficult time getting the right answers here, for nobody seems to be
completely sure.

Thanks a miilion in advance.

A carnet is VERY IMPORTANT if you want to bring a large quantity of pro
audio and/or video gear in and out of the USA and not get hit with taxes and
duties. Be prepared to post a large bond at your local chamber of commerce
to get the carnet (sometimes Thousnads opf $$$).

As for rentals, try these good sources....
