View Full Version : Mental Exercise for Scottie Witlessmongrel
George M. Middius[_4_]
August 11th 09, 10:48 PM
Pooch, after reading your foamy explosion of yapping directed at Marc, I'm
concerned that rabies may be corroding your little doggie brain. Has your vet
started treatment? I wouldn't want you to suffer unduly because you caught a
disease originated by white men in Mexico. Being the caring, elitist,
socialist prole-herder that I am, I am taking it upon myself to help you get
through this difficult time. Of course I'll leave your medical treatment in
the hands of whatever DVM your poor wife lined up for you. The support I can
offer is some mental calisthenics to slow the erosion of your remaining
faculties. So let's try a couple of these and hope for the best, shall we?
Question 1:
Premise: Nobody has proved that everybody who calls himself a "conservative"
is necessarily subpar in the IQ department.
Observation: However, every such individual does talk and act like a moron.
Question: Does a causative relationship exist between calling oneself a
"conservative" and acting like a moron? If so, which is the cause and which is
the result?
Question 2:
Premise: Real science holds that objective empirical data gathered from past
events is a more accurate predictor of future events than subjective
impressions based on personal experience.
Observation: Certain individuals who call themselves "conservatives"
frequently demand objective data from others while elevating their own
subjective impressions to primacy over objective data.
Question: If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, what are the chances
that it is a duck?
Question 3:
Premise: The ability to use language and logic effectively are the
cornerstones of rhetorical persuasiveness.
Observation: Certain individuals misuse common words, omit essential steps in
the 'logic' they present, and fail to understand others' rhetorical points
even when they're repeated many times. These individuals are prone to making
'arguments' with only the sketchiest of explanations, especially offering a
link to a website without any attempt to show how the site might support the
random thoughts that motivated the moron to begin with.
Question: At what point does courtesy fall short of expressing the ridicule
such behavior deserves, and mockery become acceptable?
Take your time. I'm sure the medications you're taking are making your 'mind'
all fuzzy and ****.

Because of its potentially violent nature, rabies has been known since
3500 B.C.
The first written record of rabies is in the Codex of Eshnunna (ca.
1930 BC),

Could have been.
I'll bet Bratzi doesn't see George's humor either. I knew 2pid doesn't
get it, but I actually thought Clyde did.
Clyde has been slipping recently.

The bit about white men was a reference to Brattie. I guess my post in its
entirety was too taxing for a chicken**** like Scottie to read all the way
through.

I've noticed that as well. My working theory about Clyde's snowballing
dumbness is that he's trying really hard to be a good republican. The side
effect of that effort is that anger tends to supplant humor.

No, I am commenting on your decision to question it. Whenever you over-
analyze humor, it dissipates.

What's the name for the condition where a patient is unable to distinguish an
"assertion" from a joke? (When the Krooglebeast revealed the same tendency, it
would say "claim" rather than "assertion".) Maybe it's medical rather than
pyschological. Is cerebro-ossification a real disease?

I think this is an example of cerebro-assification.

LOL! it has a definite meaning, at the face value of the words as
you wrote them. I understood them, and it was stupid.
What you said was very clear. Now, what you really
'meant' to say, that was not clear.
I read what you said, it has a face value meaning, i took
for for that.
So, my answer is that I did understand what you said, and it was
stupid.

This page says "Pivo" is Azerbaijani for "beer". The connection to your

The reply was that "beer" is the name of that condition. Is Pivo also a slang
term for "drunk"?

"Pivo" is the name for beer in many former Eastern European countries.
The implication was that Clyde had been guilty of DWP (Drinking While
Posting)...again. Too tenous? Lo siento.
He just tried to justify his answer again which tells me he either
still doesn't get the joke or that he enjoys looking stupid.
