Lately been involved with some bizarre instruments. 7 and 8 string guitars.
What worked for 6 isn't quite working out for these oddballs. Anyone have
links that explain the physics behind intonation?

the way the strings behave is physics, the way we understand that is
by the
math , which provides a stucture (relationships) that's pleasant to
our ears. or something like that (^;
