Mississippi John Hurt has a Facebook page? Hey, he was an old friend.
Maybe I
should get a Facebook page so I can keep in touch with him. <g>

Whoa, sorry. Seems that on FaceBook the browser's current address
isn't where you think you are. But it's how I keep in touch with
Sister Rosetta, so maybe it'll work for you too.

Much thanks, as always,

I think that's the Weavers listening.

Not all The Weavers, just Pete Seeger, who looks considerably younger
than he does now, but that
video must be 42-43 years old. The others are Hedy West (I had a big
crush on her) and Paul Cadwell,
who was the first classical-style banjo player to find his way to the
folk music circuit, amazing banjo
players everywhere. Pete's the only one of that bunch who's still alive,
just turned 90 this year.
