Palin, who emerged as a leading voice in the Republican Party after
Arizona Sen. John McCain picked her as his running mate in the contest
against Obama, is thought to be considering a run for president in
2012. Auburn residents welcomed her to the podium at City Hall with a
chant of "Run, Sarah, run!"

I hope nobody in the republican party is smart enough to chant "Stop,
Sarah, stop!" LoL.
Palin shouldn't be the leading voice of anything. How embarrassing for
the republicans. LoL.

You betcha!
Even if they did chant for her to stop, she wouldn't listen. That's
what being mavericky is all about.

But will she still be "mavericky" without McCain? The "maverick" thing
was his tagline.
Perhaps she could rework the tagline that George came up with for
2pid: "More conservative, less thought: vote Palin!" Another one might
be "Sarah Palin: against everything those gosh darned liberals are
for!"

Or, "You won't believe how much I got for all them fancy campaign
outfits on e-Bay!"
Personally, I like Palin less than the liberals do. But I find it
amusing that liberals just can't understand WHY people-a lot of people-
like Palin.

Is it because 'liberals' tend to like people with brains?
That's not something that most 'conservatives' seem to care much
about. That would explain their infatuation with Palin.
