I don't know where you could get one made locally, but it's not a
difficult thing for a tech to make up. You can probably swage the
connectors on yourself with a vise if you can't find someone with the
proper tooling.

It's just standard ribbon cable.. the hard part is putting the connectors
on, and getting good high-grade connectors. If you can find Winchester
stuff locally I would suggest their connectors.

You could try using a shielded ribbon cable just to see how it works.
It's a major pain to work with that stuff, though.

much thanks for the fast answer! i know, it's a very hard work and i
don't find quality connectors.......... my problem is, that the cable
ca. in the middle is broken (only 3 cables). i have on the end of the
ribbon cable 2 unused connectors so i can change the assign of the
channels and soldering a brigde on the damaged connector. that works
also fine, isn't it? much thanks for your tips, you are great here on
proaudio.rec!
p.s. i know i know my english is bad. i should take an english
teacher!!!!!

Maybe. I think the ribbon cable on these use connectors that crimp on,
and it has been my experience that once the connector comes off, it never
goes back on again quite properly.

So what you really need are new connectors. You can probably change the
assignment and everything will be fine for the time being, but you should
really get some new connectors.

In the US, digikey.com will have replacement connectors. Also, you could
try calling up a place that fixes aircraft electronics at your local airport;
they deal with a lot of internal ribbon cables like this and they may know
a company that specializes in making up replacements.
