I wonder if anyone has had an opportunity to audition this new Sony CD
player, especially with standard "Redbook" CDs? According to some of the
reviews it is supposed to be outstandingly good.

This CD player is fit for a king. According to the Sony web site, the

A hole in the ground is sufficient for me. Here's what you would no doubt
demand, if you were filthy rich. You can probably count the number of
children you are "killing" in accordance to the number of dumps you take.

Not really. It is true that silver is more conductive than
gold but the oxide that develops on the surface of silver is
not conductive while the gold oxide is.
