You are incorrect, Mr. Krueger. The pages I visited were
complete enough for the skill of those involved in the
website to be judged.

I see you are now playing the game you've played
before, Mr. Krueger: that if you don't click on a link
I've provided you in another thread, you can say in
_this_thread that the page's contents don't exist.
You might think that by doing you are advancing

Either way, Arnii receives the disdain and denigration he craves. Thank's
Jhon for, satissfying Arnii's need for abuse Joohn.

What an odd locution. I see you're still unable to express your hatred of
John in a comprehensible fashion. Would you like somebody to explain the
human meaning of "stupid", or would you prefer to continue mocking yourself?

There goes my good opinion of the Minnesota Orchestra. If GOIA likes
it there's something wrong with them.
Damn. I used to like them quite a lot. ;-)

Convening a class in remedial Critical Thinking 101 especially for Jenn:
What was the context, Jenn?
"Best all time orchestral recordings" or "Dynamic Range"?
Not so much the first. ;-)

Middiotic hyperbole:

Yes Jenn, you get snapped to attention every time your attention starts
wavering and you lapse into Middiocy. That's what happens to people who get
seduced by the Middiot. Look at the pathetic other examples of that around
you.

This is exactly what I was referring to earlier, Arny. You regularly
through a bitch fit about something that you do quite often. In this
case, it is "editing" a post. You've done that a lot in order to make
fake arguments. I did it in an honest attempt to get into an audio
discussion with you, without any rancour whatsoever. What possible
dastardly deed do you claim that I was attempting by simply trimming a
post? A simple answer would have sufficed.

In defense of Arny, his point, though pointless, was in his attack
subject line. A tactic that he has complained about others using, btw.
Yet another example of him wanting others to behave in a way that he is
not willing to do himself.

Let's see the whole quote, GOIA:
"The very best orchestral recording I've been able to find has about
82 dB dynamic range."

Points to GOIA for accurately portraying a schoolmarm and ignoring his
glaring descent into assholedom.

Let's look at the sentence in question again:
"The very best orchestral recording I've been able to find has about
82 dB dynamic range."
> >>> Do you mean the best orchestral recording overall, or
> >>> only IRT dynamic range?
A very reasonable question based on the butchered English GOIA
deployed.

The why did you call it the "best recording"?

"The very best orchestral recording I've been able to find has about
82 dB dynamic range."
Try this next time, GOIA:
"The very best orchestral recording I've been able to find with regard
to dynamic range has about 82 dB dynamic range."
See how that clears it right up?
If I said "The very best electric guitar I've ever played had three
pickups" it can be read at least two ways.
Poor GOIA! He is just like 2pid and cannot effectively communicate!

Oh this is rich. From the man who routinely snips entire sections of posts
when what they contain annoy or refute him....all withou reference of a

Creating an opportunity to whine about big bad Arny when I called you to
task for such an obvious example of deception.
Get more praise from the Middiot Posse ( posts by Art, ****R, and the

I gave you that in the OP Jenn, but you decided to go for as much
consolation and praise as you could from those listed above. I'm sure that

Fat chance.

That would be part of your fantasy construct. On one side, I have
"unexplained absences" that must mean I've been in jail. At other
times, I post too much just because I'm responding to you within a
half hour. Just a few days ago you complained of the latter,
neglecting the fact that you responsded to my post in just a couple of
minutes.
You're making it up as you go along. That's another aspect of your

Really Marc. Why are you confessing that now?

Actually tonight it has been as little as seven minutes, maybe even less.
See Marc, when you start obsessing over me, you lose track of time. You
think that you are denying yourself the fulfillment of your obsession with
me for a half hour, and its really 7 minutes or less.
Stop now Marc while there is still a possibility that you can recover from
your addiction to the Middiocy. You have a wife and children to return to. I
am not really as important to you as you think.

Nice that you snipped the rest of my post, missing the point. Didn't
you just complain of Jenn doing the same thing?

No, I'm sitting here, playing with you. Every time I make a post,
there's a new one to read and reply to. I've set aside a certain part
of my day to play on RAO. No obsession, no losing track of the time.
That's how it is for normal people. Posting on Internet forums is a
normal activity, not the life and death struggle you make it to be.

There is no such thing as "an addiction to the Middiocy." It's part
of your fantasy construct, and it does not exist in the real world.

I do? My wife is in Canada, working on a movie. My kids are hanging
out and playing video games. I can devote as much time to you as I
want.

That's right Marc, as you just said you want to devote all of your time to
me, if I will only keep responding to your plaintive pleas for my attention.

Isn't it unfair how we use pejorative neologisms like Kroopologist and

That's part of your fantasy construct. In reality, you're responding
to me much quicker than I am to you. I think you're concerned about my
responses because I'm telling the truth, you know it and it hurts a
lot. If you need proof, simply let Susan read your posts in this
thread. Don't you trust her anymore?

The difference is Marc, that I know that. Unlike you I'm not saying that I'm
waiting for a half hour.
I can respond much quicker than you Marc for a number of reasons, all
indicators that you are mentally and physically slow.

I don't know about Turdy and his domestic menage, but I can tell you what
happened when I shared RAO with other people. Every one of them looked at me
with pity and bemusement. Once I was overheard by the guy in the next cube.
He said I was "cackling" and I showed him some of that day's RAO badinage.
Nobody understands completely, but some non-RAO Normals can sort of follow
along. I doubt an uptight religious freak like Mrs. Krooger could though.
Arnii's cowardice in this case is justified.

There hasn't been significant looting in Detroit since the 1967 riots, and I
lived elsewhere at that time.

That's part of your fantasy construct. Susan does not know who I am.
She has little or no information about your posting behaviors here.
If she did, she would probably leave.
In addition, I have not slurred the memory of your son. In fact, I've
defended it. You're the one who has trashed it on the Internet by
dredging it up everytime you feel cornered.

I'm not lying. You're just too dumb to understand. That's part of
your fantasy construct, that you understand everything. In the real
world, you're a bit of a simpleton.

It's funny that you refer to spending time with your children as
babysitting. That speaks volumes about your parenting skills.
You know, one of the features of narcissistic personality disorders is
that sufferers tend to elevate the accomplishments of their children
to unrealistic levels as well. People with NPD consider their
children as extensions of themselves. Knowing that you suffer from
NPD and seeing your claims about all the advanced degrees your
children possess, I think we all have to assume that you're lying
about them. It's highly unlikely that a failure such are yourself
could raise such excellent children. I'm sure your kids are just
ordinary schlubs like yourself, trying to eke out a living in a harsh
world.
>
> G'Night Marc. Life in the real world awaits me, but obviously not you.
That's a very typical response from someone who has no life. I'm sure
my day was infinitely more interesting than yours. I interviewed a
famous musician in the morning, had lunch with the owner of Music
Millenium and received a pair of one of my favorite speakers of all
time for review. It was sunny so I went for a beautiful walk. Then I
made dinner for my children and we watched a movie together. Then I
tried to counsel a poor lost soul on the Internet who has been
suffering from a serious personality disorder for many years. I don't
know if I made any progress, but I did keep him up after 1am, so I
think I planted a few seeds. He made up some story about going to a
party, but I'm sure his wife just dragged him out of the house to get
him away from his computer.

I think that you know the answer to that.

Gak. Your self-awareness index is still stuck at zero. You should try
something radical to get the needle to budge, like maybe a round of
head-knock therapy.
Or you could continue to portray Usenet's foremost nincompoop. I'll bet that
works for you.

You can fear about my caring for Arny as a person all you want. That's
hardly more important than a person's welfare, in my view.

Because he's been here for 11 years and it hasn't happened yet. It's
already been proven that he freaks out when people ignore him. If we

Correct. I don't want to be even a bit responsible for a person's
welfare when I have no more influence over that person than I do.
About others: you're probably correct on that too.

What Witless means, Mistress, is that he wants you to discipline him so that
he feels as worthless as Krooger. He's apparently terrified of me, and he
can't understand why you don't hate and fear me as well.
Next time you whale on Scottie, may I suggest using a multi-strand whip that
is fitted with tacks. Scottie doesn't appreciate beatings that he is able to
forget as soon as the next time he goes for walkies.

I'm trying to care what you may or may not do, but I'm not succeeding.
BTW, you've run away from hundreds of direct questions over the years. Does
that make you an "Arnyitis" victim, or just a less refined grade of
pea-brain?

The amazing thing, Jenn, is that everyone has to learn this through
their own experience. It's so impossible to grok abstractly. Everyone
that comes here thinks, reasonably, that since they're rational and
wiling to be tolerant, they'll be able to reason and discuss with him.
Even when one understands it, it's still hard to work with. Boon,
IMHO, communicates better than anyone I've ever seen when dealing with
Arnie, but even he gets peevish now and again. JA manages to keep his
temper....most of the time, but, genuinely, George really has it
right.
There's no possibility of reason, no possibility of conversation, no
possibility of ordinary human discourse. The problem, then, is that
Arnie is like a gas: he expands to fill thre available volume....in
this case RAO.
Sooner or later, he forces himself inside the most innocuous
conversations and Presto! Chango! It's all about him.

My Gawd, Arnie, you've really lost it this time. Being excommunicated
doesn't mean that you've won, lonely breath.
It means you're on the Untouchable list. Next I suppose you'd
think being exposed on a mountain side is a signal of parental love
and affection.

This is nothing new. He and we've been here before. I think you're
misreading this. I'll agree there must have been a significant
stimulus or provocation to send him off like this, but he feeds on the
attention. It distracts him from whatever real problem (s) he needs to
face.
Eventually, his real-life paralysis will lead to a decision being made
about something passively: that is,by not deciding he's deciding.
While he's becoming logorheic here, the real world will go on and
things will happen. Once that's happened, Arnie can recover his more
normal outward-facing role (note I didn't say "self") and things will
go back to the previous level.
If you think about it a bit, you'll see that's why he has no real job
and no real career.
At least, that's my humble theory, heretofore to be known as IMHT.
Please feel free to generously critique.

I agree with this. But... If I'm right, I don't want to contribute to
what could be something serious for him, and if YOU'RE right about
feeding on the attention, it's ALSO best for me (and others) to not
contribute to that. Either way, this feels like the correct move. We

Oh, no, actually,. You're the one who's right, Jenn, not me. I'm not
actually arguing with you. I believe you're ethically correct.
However, Arnie long ago destroyed RAO to the point where its only
raison d'etre is to bash Krueger, since he contaminates everything
within reach, the original Usenet Bunker Buster.
I've long ago learned that in general, bashing Krueger remains one of
life's great pleasures as long as one recognizes it for the Jones that
it might become. My solution is to stay away for *years* at a time.
Here I am, back after the metaphorical millenium (and also the real
one) and plus ca change, plus ca meme chose. It's the same crap all
over again.
That's why I'm so respectful of George. He's got it right, and once
you accept that, his writing becomes funnier and funnier, even if he
does have a penchant for saying outrageous things to others who may or
may not deserve it. He plays RAO the same way Arnie plays it, only
George gets it and Arnie doesn't.
So excuse me for now. I've read all your posts recently, and you know
what you're about and I have some Arnie bashing to do. Arnie will find
you wherever you are. You may filter him, but it will be *very* hard
not to occasionally peek and then you'll read something so awful, so
off the wall, so psychotically mean you'll have to respond because
(caps intended) THIS STUFF STAYS ON THE WEB FOREVER!!!!!!
In the same way that Democrats finally learned that they have
to respond immediately to any and all Republican smears (and
vice-versa, of course), you can't let Arnie's malign spewings stay
unanswered on the web.
So, you either leave RAO (which will shut him up eventually,
and since you left, you won;t see the hideous things he may have said
in your absence) or you fight.
Personally, I prefer both paths. Leave for a good while, then
come back a la George and blow the buggy ******* out of the water.

Scottie thinks that by demonstrating his own inability to recognize mockery,
he'll somehow make the Krooborg seem less insane.

Yeah.
The trick is not to get trapped in an irrational sequence in which
one's response seems to make sense given the very narrow conext of the
immediate provocation, but which when viewed from the vantage point of
the entire sequence is clearly wacky.
That is, arguing with a madman is a mad thing to do. You get to choose
who you think qualifies as mad.
Scottie's a great example of this. Any one of his remarks may make
sense, even seem the best ethical response untill you view it from a
higher perspective and see the whole sequence. Then it's almost as
wacky as an Arnold string.
Try this on for size: when was the last time you felt you were being
respected as a functioning, intelligent grown-up once you disagreed
with either Arnold or Scott....er.....excuse me....2pid.

Why does the fact that Jenn is a lesbian make you sad, GOIA? I'd say
the only valid reason is that you secretly want her. We all already

Several things: I think you're right that Jenn has knockout potential
for all sorts of reasons, sexual humiliation being a prime
consideration, especially since she wouldn't be intending it, but
Arnie would perceive it anyway.
However, "world class" rating, and certainly the #1 ranking requires
more than just potential, and more than just the current season.
Anyone can be a Flash In The Krueger, after all (no disrespect here,
Jenn. We all have high hopes for you).
You've been at a high level for years, as have a couple others. We're
at the point now where Arnie breaks out in hives just seeing your name
on the monitor.
Of course, it's also true that the very thought of JA shrivels the
Krueger jewels, so maybe I should give this more thought.......
