CNN has a story about abiding racism among white people. They report a study
involving three scenarios:

In the first scenario, the white person did not comment afterwards.
In the "moderate" case, the white person said, "Typical, I hate it
when black people do that," after the black person left the room.
In the "extreme" case, the white person remarked, "Clumsy n****r."

Those armchair liberals have no idea how little of the iceberg they're
actually perceiving. Next up: Jews vs. Arabs, Japs vs. Koreans, and Mexicans
vs. crackers.

I just watched Gran Torino yesterday, and thought it was pretty
unflinching in its portrayal of racism in the 21st century. It kills
me when people think racism is no longer a problem in our country
because we elected a black leader. White people still tell black jokes
when no one is looking. Blacks and Mexicans still openly hurl racial
epithets at each other in the workplace. You can still get your ass
kicked by walking through a neighborhood where you don't "belong."

I read some reviews of Gran Torino that criticized the racial aspects
of the film, calling them over the top or rooted in the '70s. Talk
about ivory towers.

Controlling the media, banks and Hollywood
takes up so much time and effort, we dont'
have enough energy to cruise the night streets
and hand out racial abuse.
