Shhhh! I'm Listening to Reason!
December 17th 08, 01:40 PM
When will the current Kroodown end?

So far the 24th and 25th are filled. Apparently some people feel that
GOIA's pastor's Christmas sermons will cause GOIA to stop posting for
a few days then. Are there any other bets?

What's a Kroodown?

BTW, how big is the pot for my exit from RAO?

If it is big enough, I'll force myself off RAO and collect it myself! ;-)

Life is so sweet on the HTML forums - there's actual adult supervision that
puts an end to 99% of the childish nonsense that goes on here.

Exactly. We've seen Arny's meltdowns on other forums and discussion
groups in the past. Moderated forums are not his friend.

That's just posturing and wishful thinking on your part, Marc.

Besides Marc, I've seen some of your posts on at least one HTML forum in my
travels. I could see that you are an equal-opportunity butt-hole and
know-nothing.

But since you had indeed posted on a HTML forum, I wouldn't call you a liar
if you said that you had.

Oh, and have a nice day! ;-)

Maner? I don't have a mane!

It would only matter to me if I actually wanted to conference there.

So no Iain, I couldn't care less if the Senile Dementia Has-Been Recording

LOL!

But can you imagine: a forum consisting largely of real, professional
recording engineers and others associated with sound reproduction. Into
this Arnii Krooborg descends like a plague and begins the "Debating
Trade" in earnest. I think it wouldn't take too long for the owners of
said forum to ban him for life.

You can't "force" yourself off RAO. You've proven that over and over.

So you prefer moderated forums. That's great! My suggestion would be

No imagination required. Consider rec.audio.pro.

Paranoid much? Take most of the Middiot Posse on RAO. They know nothing but
the "Debating Trade", or haven't you noticed?

History shows that on several occsasions George Middiot and some of his
posse has descended like a plague and begins their "Debating Trade" juvenile
chit-chat in earnest.

I'm not banned from any forums that have been named.

George isn't exactly banned from rec.audio.pro. It is more like he has
experienced the consequences and declines to risk experiencing them again.

I find it fascinating. Such cases are almost
unheard of.

People are usually denied access to closed
professional groups because they do not yet
have the qualifications or experience required
to participate. This is usually a transitory phase
with guest status granted later. One is normally
proposed and then seconded by two other
estanblished members.

I understand that Arny's exclusion is unconditional.

Well, not quite. It's one of a number of closed audio groups
the membership of which is comprised of audio professionals
from record companies and broadcasting corporations
inclduding the BBC: It's a unamimous and unconditional

Arny had a brief conversation with two ex-BBC
transcriptions engineers. This was before his
born-again experience, and he had a foul mouth.
He had no idea with whom he was discussing,
and tried forcibly to"correct the audiophool
misconceptions" that these two polite gentleman
had regarding disc cutting! LOL :-)

Iain, you're lying as usual. I was born-again over 50 years ago, and I've

people have hassled me for not using their favorite profane words when they

You seem to have a remarkably short memory, Mr.K. Is that
to increase your Baptist confort level - all sins washed away
every Sunday?

You also seem a little over keen to accuse all and sundry

So which is a worse sin, GOIA? Occasional swearing as some may have
done here, or lying, being abusive, bearing false witness, and
denouncing God and Jesus, as you have done? And your silence on the

Sure there are. The 10 commandments came directly from God. Everything
else is just heresay. And the "F-word" is nowhere to be seen.

So what? I don't see anywhere in the bible that "swearing" is a sin.
If you don't like it, you can just jolly-****ing-well leave. LOL!

> > or lying, being abusive, bearing

Oh GOIA, I've never seen anybody but you and one or two others here
claim to be Christians, although you've denounced Jesus here several
times recently.

I am not held accountable by your bible or Jesus as I do not claim to
be an adherent of that religion. You do. Therefore, you are. Your
ridiculous line of "reasoning" would indicate that I have to adhere to
Buddhist religion if talking to a Buddhist.

A subtle difference that you are sure to fail detecting. Try a
blindfold. LOL!

So your timeline is...

The person who sent you this porn was...

The police got involved because...

They were able to determine it was adult because...

No charges were filed against you or the sender because...

Go for it, GOIA. I'm all ears.

I can probably put a date on it. The matter was recently discussed
again amongst the people who took part in the original thread. I
won't bother to check any archive. I am sure you have removed
the relevant posts just as you are said to have done from other
discussions.

The rest of us have longer memories than you
seem to have Mr.K even though the discussion
on disc cutting occurred nearly ten years
ago.

I remember reading on this very NG about the
improvement in your language after someone from
your "Chruch" had spoken with you about the invective
you so frequently used as being inappropriate for a
self-proclaimed Christian.

As a Christian, one would expect you to have a
far higher standard of moral ethics than the rest us
poor sinners.

As I think I have mentioned to you before, the brother of my
maternal grandfather was a Baptists minister, one of the kindest
and finest people one could wish to meet. He later left the Baptist
church and became a High Anglican like the rest of the family. He
was never ordained. But, even as a ten-year old,. I could see
that the Baptist "flock" were the most odious, supercilious,
insincere group of people one could ever have the misfortune
to meet. You fit the pattern perfectly.

Paranoid delusions noted. As a matter of principle, I don't mess with the
google archive.

There's lots of it going on.

Which conversation of 100s was that?

No doubt those posts were lies posted by the Middiot Posse. Iain, you show
yourself to be a very naive little boy, if you actually believe that crap.

Iain, you show that you have no clue about Christianity. We're all poor
sinners, Christians or not.

Obviously, it didn't rub off on you, Iain.

If he was smart or wise, that didn't rub off, either.

You, Arny, are an UNREPENTANT sinner

It seems that posts which you have made disappear on
a regular basis. No-one other than yourself has a
motive for their removal. Many have commented
upon the strange disappearances. How careless of
Google to lose your posts, Mr.K.

It must be convenient to have such a short
memory :-)

Clearly neither do you, or you would not behave
as you do. You do much harm to the image of the
true believers of this world.

Some are poorer and sin more than others :-)

At 60 years of age, he was smart enough to see what
the Baptist "flock" were really like. It was a happy day
when he gave up his quirky non-conformist beliefs to
become a high Angilican like the rest of the family.
Sadly he was never ordained. At the age of eight
or so I could see what a supercilious bunch of
hypocrites the Baptist "flock" were. I had forgotten
all about them until I bumped into you.
