RIP Odetta

I had but one encounter with her, at a concert where I played backup to
Peter Paul and Mary. She doesn't sing on this one, but you get a
glimpse of her reacting with joy to John Sebastian's wonderful harmonica

And pardon my indulgence, as this doesn't involve Odetta, but from that
same concert, I'm playing resonator guitar back up on this track with
PPM and the late Dave Van Ronk. Thinking of Odetta made me naturally
think of this concert. The headstock of my guitar can barely be seen at
one point on the video ;-) A great concert with PPM, Odetta, John
Sebastian, Dave Van Ronk, Tom Paxon, et al. I'm playing those little

Thanks for sharing. I missed out on Odetta and somehow had her confused
with Nina Simone. I didn't realize Odetta was from LA.
