Saddam Hussein was westernizing Iraq, forging it into a nation with heat
and pressure and brutality just like all nations are forged-including our
own.
He was breaking down cousin marriage and Islamic dress and the Shia-Sunni
division.
So we toppled him because he was a brute. And he had "weapons of mass
destruction".
Right.
The United States is a huge nation with more nuclear weapons than the
rest of the world several times over and which is effectively controlled
by a small band of alien subversives who have their own gangster state
with nuclear weapons as well. Our moral authority is...nonexistent.
I am hoping that despite the plunge in oil prices Putin will retain the
muscle and balls to punish any interloper into his domain. It's the
planet's only hope, unless and until the United States can be taken over
again by Americans.
