Arny is 61,more or less (I'm not in charge of his A&E Biography or
anything). He says he's been married 42 years. That means he got
married at 19. At that time, he was probably an engineering student
at Oakland College. He's also a self-confessed geek.

In other words, he married the first girl who had sex with him. Wow,
and he thinks he's a paragon on mental stability.

I would pay good money to see that wedding photo. I wonder if he
removed his pocket protector for the wedding. I wonder if her gown
concealed her baby bump.

the timeline doesn't make sense, because it does
not include his military service, at least 3 years as
an enlisted man.
Arny either lied about his military service, lied about his length of
marriage,
or lied about his age.

Arny is considerably over 61, probably almost 70 to judge from his remark
that MM was "twice his age" at some time before her death in '62. She was
36 which would have to have made him 18 then, but he claimed that that was
true circa '59 or so (SLIH was finished in late '58 IIRC.)

He might have said that he's "been with" the same woman for 42 years.
Still doesn't negate the theory that he married his first piece of ass
and that he's holding onto her because no other woman in the world
would touch him with a ten foot pole. (Or touch him if even if he had
a ten foot pole.)
