Shhhh! I'm Listening to Reason!
October 14th 08, 07:40 PM
Since George W. Bush became president, the Republican Party has
presided over massive, out-of-control government spending, converted a
federal budget surplus into a half-trillion-dollar deficit, and looked
the other way while Wall Street's greed and stupidity turned the
hallowed free market into scorched earth. Now the party has to watch
as a Republican president orchestrates the biggest government
intervention into the workings of the private sector since the New
Deal.

Can any Republican candidate claim with a straight face to represent
the party of small government? For that matter, can any Republican
candidate plausibly explain what the party is supposed to stand for
these days?

....

When a political party reaches the point of lurching incoherence, the
most effective cure is a good, long spell in the wilderness. Americans
should help Republicans out by sending them home to get their act
together.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/10/socialist_charges_from_bailout.html

Perhaps 2pid or Clyde can tell me what the republicans stand for and
how they are superior to the Dems.

Don't forget to keep it short, Clyde. I'll allow you three sentences.

You can't win 'em all. Hoover said that a lot.

They're still trying to outlaw Gay marriage and prohibit sex ed for teens.
And in some states, they're down with mandatory gun ownership and equal
time for Bible stories alongside science curricula.

But you knew all that. ;-)

OK, so the republicans are the party of bedroom intrusion and
firearms. The reason is that you don't need sex: Mary and a couple of
sharks have proven that.

Indeed. ;-)

**Indeed. However, the REAL question that enquiring minds want answered is
this:

Will Arny vote for this bunch of crooks again?

Not if we can get Turdy convicted of a felony.

I still think Scottie murdered Turdborg. Notice there were only two
snot-posts from Mr. ****'s account the other day? Even Scottie could fake
up two posts.

I already explained that. 2pid left a Palin rally all fired up with
the chants of "Lynch him! Off with his head!" bouncing around in his
'brain'. 2pid then ran into GOIA and mistook him for Obama. Ever the
good little conservative, 2pid did what he had been told to do.

Arnii, I'll remind you that you have not posted a single shred of evidence
to prove you are not a felon. We'll need something concrete if you want to
put our well-founded suspicions to rest. A link to the disposition of your
trial(s) would be a good start.

Lacking any concrete evidence, we have little choice but to take your
silence on the issue of your criminality as a confession of guilt. That's
how the "debating trade" works -- according to you, the "master".

Note the childish logic that the Middiot relies on as usual for him. Adults
know that proving a negative hypothesis like this is very difficult or
impossible. Obviously, the Middiot does not know the basics of logic.

It's not that you can't prove a negative. It's that you can't prove a
positive by citing the absence of a negative. Obviously, Arny does

Somebody's terribly konfused. You see, Turdball, it's not my "logic" --
it's yours. You would see that if you hadn't gone apoplectic before
finishing my post. My second paragraph contained the vital point of

I respectfully disagree with your blanket statement. In addition to a
proper education, Turdy would also need a lifetime inoculation against
insanity. Otherwise it's Kroologic and "debating trade" crapola until the

He's going to focus on the "very difficult" part, I'm sure. In truth,
it's easy to prove a negative. For instance, I can prove that I
didn't commit a crime by providing an alibi. Not hard at all.

Then again, what can you expect from someone who graduated from

By the way, didn't somebody send Arny a box of turds a few years ago?
I seem to remember him accusing the Devil of doing it. I just checked
the google archives, and there's absolutely nothing. I remember it
clearly, since it happened when I first got here.

Has Arny been erasing his posts again, or is Google lying to me?

The former is certainly possible. The latter would depend on
Kroo-kraziness being contagious.

Another possibility is that Arnii was talking echolalically. The RAO
Normals can't be the only ones who recognize Turdborg's obsession with
worthless sound cards as a manifestation of his insanity. When he made the
claim about a box of turds on his doorstep, Turdy was probably just
repeating something poor Susan said to him.

Psychosis and near Psychosis: Ego Function, Symbol Structure,
Treatment, by Eric R. Marcus

Norman Doidge

This book is full of brilliant observations, distinctions, and
clarifications about how to better treat two difficult mental
conditions with psychoanalytic methods: the psychoses, and what the
author calls the near psychosesa range of subtle disturbances that
include, among other symptomatology, borderline phenomena and
pseudodelusions. The author also has important observations about
patients with different wiring, including those with learning
disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorder. It is not an easy book,
but rather one to be studied; for the most part, the difficulties it
presents lie in the fact that it is one of the most probing books on
psychosis ever written by anyone in any field, and one of the most
important books in psychoanalysis in the last fifty yearsa true
classic.

Bull****, you can go to the MSP and get a copy of your criminal
record.
If you are not a felon, it will so indicate that.

Let's apply some Kroologic here.
It actually happened, because if it didn't
happen, he would have falsely accused me of doing it.

Sometimes when I pick up my copy of the DSM-IV, I think I'm reading

A real delusion is thinking that "phenomena" is a singular noun. A
pseudodelusion" is that anyone cares if you point it out.

anything that anybody but they write.

What does this say about him? That he feels he's a pseudodelusion?

the author prefaced it with "a", which is singular ("a borderline
phenomena")
so who knows what he actually meant.

I don't know what you were reading:

Perhaps 2pid or Clyde can tell me what the republicans stand for and
how they are superior to the Dems.

(Note: that's one sentence.)

Don't forget to keep it short, Clyde. I'll allow you three sentences.

I don't think either party is superior.
I happen to be a registered Democrat, not that
I am active in any way.
You can give my lefotver sentence to someone else, if you don't

I'll take a shot:

The Republicans stand for moolah. They are superior to the Dems
because they can scoop up more moolah and shove it into their pockets
when no one is looking.
