Hello Everyone,

I'm using Sony Vegas 8 (brand new to it) and I have a problem. We're
recording a vocal track on top of some prereorded music and, for some
reason, the audio is off in time. I know this is something called
'slip' but I'm not sure how to fix it.

Can anyone give me a clue?

Thanks!
Anthony

By "off" do you mean simply "offset" with relation to the "reference"
track(s)? If that is the case then you should be able to grab the
offending track and drag it into a position that syncs with the other
tracks.

Or by "off" do you mean that the length is incorrect?

"off in time" doesn't have a precise technical definition that we can
all understand.
