View Full Version : Audiophile 2496, Edirol UA-5 USB any good?

I'm looking for a decent compact S/PDIF coaxial
interface to get a S/PDIF signal into Logic 6 on
an OSX laptop. Is anybody using the Audiophile
or UA-5 on an OSX laptop with good results, low latency
and no driver issues? Is there a sofware control
panel for monitoring? What other units are there?
I don't need mic inputs, though.

I know it's not the same exact thing, but I'm using the Delta 24/96
(PCI card) with OS X (10.2.6) and Logic Platinum (5.6 right now; will
be upgrading shortly to 6) with nothing but success.
