View Full Version : ProTools 6 effects
Is there a web site that specifies what effects come with ProTools LE 6
alone?
I mean just the way it is out of the box, no plug-ins or anything.
Thanks.

www.digidesign.com Be advised that Digidesign changes the contents of the
plug-in package about every quarter or two.

But aren't these all just plug ins?
I'm wandering what comes with ProTools by it self.
I'll take another look at the web site to make sure I'm not missing
anything.
Thanks.

The only effects you'll get are plug-ins, no hardware other than your
particular interface/pre (such as MBox, Digi001, Digi002).
Why don't you talk to your local PT dealer.

You'll some of the basics. Even pro tools free comes with eq's, delays ,
compression, and a non real time pitch effect. You'll get free reverb with
an MBox also. The 002, not the rack version, comes with some nice third
party third party plugins.

with any pro tools system from top of the line to bottom, you will get
digidesign's digirack plug-ins which contain an EQ, Compressor,
Limiter, Delays, D-Verb (reverb), and De-Esser...am i forgetting
anything? ...maybe a Dither plug-in?
the delay plug can be used to generate phasing and chorus effects as
well.
the digirack plugs also appear as Audiosuite plug-ins which are used
for file-based processing.
in addition to these plug-ins which come standard no matter what, digi
often bundles some 3rd party plug-ins with a system to 'sweeten' the
deal. this varies as a previous poster noted every few quarters...
it sounds to me like you should order some literature from digi or
talk to someone wherever you're thinking of buying this sytem at.
