I'm sort of surprised you got past the first sentence thinking it was legit,
but maybe you haven't encountered poeple with clinically paranoid delusions of
having their brain under the control of the CIA, FBI, Catholic Church, etc.
When I worked in neurology research, we got serious letters several times
inquiring about possible techniques to prevent mind control. One person called
it an "audiophone", since the voices in his head seemed to him to be beamed in
from outside.

Judging from recent news on so many fronts, maybe there's something to it after
all.

Well I was kind of scanning it, when I got to the picture with the dog
I knew it was just a joke.

I worked with a seriously deranged girl about 10 years ago...very sad
and creepy.

She totally wigged out on me one day, and then for the next 6 months
we had to work with her until she crashed and burned and got fired.
TWO YEARS later she called me up at 2:00 a.m. (long distance from the
state she had moved back to), said "remember me?, I don't forget...I
don't ever forget"

It was like something out of a bad TV movie. After she called me at
home that night she called my phone mail at work and the phone mail of
several other employees.

Over the next two weeks she left about 27 separate messages, various
threats, etc. I knew she was actually harmless and wouldn't follow
through but it really worried some of the other people (the girl was 5
feet tall, 95 pounds, and didn't know how to use a gun...I figured I
was somewhat safe).

The messages got weirder and weirder, at the end she was talking about
UFO's following her back to Ohio.

Years before I started working there, they did have an employee that
was deranged and she wore tin foil on her head. She was always calling
the police and FBI, claiming plots against her.

She finally went too far when she accused the main guy that ran the
place of sexual assault in an elevator....on a day he was on travel to
the West Coast.

I think they retired her on a medical, apparently she was pretty bad
off.

Kind of sad for these kinds of people that are that bad off, but at
the same time it's pretty stressful for the people they lay their
delusions on.

I thought the tin foil thing was pretty funny because I had just
watched "Signs" again.

What a depressing, nasty movie that was...

I just saw this movie the first time a few nights ago. My God that was one
of the most impressive movies I've ever seen in my life, on so many levels.
Definitely one of the top 10 of all time.

As the movie said, "there's two kinds of people".

I'd hate to have to sit through the other nine movies you've seen.

i enjoyed the film. i think that guy is really coming into his own
with crafting suspense effectively. but i enjoyed "the sixth sense"
as well.

the alien looked corny, but for all but a few moments he leaves
everything to the viewer's imagination, the hallmark of a great
suspense film.

my favorite shot in this movie is when the dog is going nuts outside
and everbody in the house stops to listen and the camera keeps slowly
dollying to the wall that the dog is heard yelping on the other side
of until it lets out it's final yelp and the camera stops. i thought
that was a masterful sequence, myself.

Hey, as long as you have a knob for each function, you'll be fine!
