Mine works great, using it on my laptop to use VST instruments live.

By the way, I've not had one problem running MOTU stuff on my PCs, now that
I'm all Intel. Its the AMD stuff and VIA chipsets that are problem prone.
Once I went Intel, everything is running smooth. I use the 2408 Mk III, the
24I/O, and the 828 Mk II.

The MOTO stuff works flawless on mp PC !!!! the key to the 828 is the proper
firewire card. Find yourself a Keyspan Firewire card ( Im assuming this is
for a PC) it has the TI chip in it and have fun with your new 828MKII.....
