To Whom it may interest Voice Identification,
Right now I am working in an forensic expert witnssing report on voice
identification of 2 Spanish singers. The story is more or less like
the Milli Vanilli one (in Spanish), but the fraud is still seriously
denied and forensic evidence must be carefully performed on old songs
that I cand send in MP3 format to anybody interested in learning or
teaching how to find differeces between false singer and true one, as
well as a way that can demonstrate that the true one match with
undennied authorships more than 25 years after the Long Play 33 rpm
disc was published.
It is not so easy to analyse the sound in a song using the same tools
than for phone wire-tapping voice identification, but we are doing our
best to develop a new approach for singer identification and I hope to
be ready for some publication. Any help is very welcome and we shall
be pleased to quote the name and the opinions of experts translating
it to Spanish.
Obviously I shall appreciate any reference of fraud in singing, as
well as any comment on voice identification of singers.
