Hanging curtains, putting bass traps in corners helps. It really
depends on the size of your room and the monitors you use. Also where
your monitors are placed and how loud you listen.I have KRK monitors
and they sit on top of my board with no wall behind them. They did not
have enough bass so I added a sub. It takes a lot of padding in small
rooms to stop bass from bouncing around.
Play a few of your favorite cd,s and get them to sound right on your
system. It takes some time and trial n error. Have 1 or 2 other
systems to play your mixes on. If you get the CR room good then it
will sound ok in a car or a big system with a sub. gtbuba
