Schoeps - One mic is hotter

I'm having a problem with one of my Schoeps cm641 mic.
It seems to be much hotter than the other mic.
This is a matched pair.
Is this something I could ask Schoeps to take a look at.
I know it's not the mic pre because when I swap the mics, left for right,
the much louder input volume always stays with the same mic. The mic pre
input knobs are always at the same volume.
I'm using Millennia mic pre with Lynx converter.

Would it be the right thing to do to ship them to Schoeps?
What's the right way to handle this?

Yes, send both of them in. But first try swapping the capsules and see
if the problem follows the capsule or the handle. And make sure it's
not a bad cable, too!

Look at the mic that has a lower output. Is there any contamination on
the gold pins that make the electrical connection to the mic pre body?
If not a trip to Schoeps with both mics is in order.

There is a trim pot inside the mic body to set fet bias, One is a bit
off from the other. You can reset it yourself if you're inclined, it
affects output level.
