Shhhh! I'm Listening to Reason!

I love how in the "related items" links on this page they have a 60GB
iPod...

I'd dump the JBLs and use Bose though.

well its a 5.1
knock it down to stereo, and you might save about $200k
maybe enough to buy a condo to put it in.

That TV there looks funny. :) In fact, it looks like an oxymoron all by
itself! :) In the middle of all that high end stuff.

On a side note: one explanation might be that he had just learned the
word "oxymoron" and wanted desperately to use it, ASAP, as it were. ?

I think GOIA would more likely be found dining in the Sanitary Sewer.

But it takes a 'real man' to falsely accuse a whole bunch of people
of distributing kiddie porn.

The jig is up. GOIA has seen right through me. How can one man be so
perceptive?

I am a sockpuppet of Bratzi's. Whew! I'm so glad the secret is out in
the open.

I wonder if they used Monster Cables?

Probably sounds like ****. I'd put mine up against it any day.

Gawd. I went to BestBuy the other day in search of a extra-long
optical cable (they didn't have one), and the punk leads me right-over
to the Monster Cable section. I caught a quick glimpse of the prices.
I literally makes my stomach hurt. They are ****ing RIPPING people
off! I mean, they want more for the cables to hook a DVD player up
than what you can buy a DVD player for!

How does this **** exist in the market? Don't people stop and think
"Hmmm... One is a complex electro-mechanical assembly, and the other
is a WIRE."

Agreed. Of course you know the story - they advertise and compete based on
the price of DVD players, but not the cables.

After you read the Monster cable hype, you're supposed to think that the
wire is more complex than the DVD player. ;-)

It is called freedom and many think it is a good idea. Consider the
alternative (i.e. state intervention) and what it would cost and mean
to an enormous number of other areas if it is to penetrate down deep
enough to pick up on silly luxury goods that harm nobody.

All true, but beside the point. dippy and the other 'borgs want to
outlaw anything they can't afford. I'm sure you saw dippy's other post
wherein he boasted that his unnamed crap system is oh-so-superior to the
high-priced one in question. That's all dippy has to cling to, you know
-- the fantasy that his $1200 system is "better" than any system anybody
else has, no matter how much they spent on it.

LOL You should at least try to make your bull**** SOMEWHAT plausible,
Georgy Peorgy.

I've posted what my system is.

Good luck building my system with $1200... But in the end it's not
the size of the check, it's the amount of thought that goes into the
design of the system, including the room.

"State intervention" is not the only alternative, thinker.

we can have interested volunteers hanging out
at the stores, sort of like those
birder control volunteers.
