Default Speaker Glue Source - I wanna buy bulk!

Hi,

For those who have re-surround or reconed loudspeakers, I am sure you don't
like to pay through the nose for a small squeeze 2oz bottle of glue to use.
There must be a source for the glue that loudspeaker manufacturers use,
undoubtedly for much less money proportionately than the squeeze bottle
route. I put the questions out there to the collective experience and
knowledge of this newsgroup;

- Source / Name of speaker glue used to adhere surrounds to cones / baskets.

- Damping compound Name / Source

- Dust Cap cement (usually black) Name / Source

I suppose the dust cap is more visable, how about some dye? Some of the sticky damping coumpounds
are a mistery to me as far aswho sells it. For some good damping coumpound ( I have no idea what
your dealing with) try some DAP Dynaflex 230 at Home Depot in large tubes for maybe $3.
It dries to a rubber like consistancy, and can be thinned with water for brushing on. Stuff is
pretty sticky, could probably be used for gluing surrounds. It comes black and other colors.
Airflex 400 a copolymer polyvinyl acetate comes from Air Products. I got a gallon for a free sample
some years ago. Buying a minimum order might be hard. Elmers glue can be used, its also a
polyvinyl acetate but is a homopolymer, less flexable.
