I am a 30 year Voiceover guy with studio in Southeast Michigan with a
need to
either book some time or see a dealer with a decent range of Neumann,
AKG
and other condensers in order to do some comparison testing and
possibly
purchase something new for a mic upgrade.

Specifically an M149 is a mic of interest... Perhaps an AKG. I simply
have
no dealer/studio in my immediate area with a good range to go in and
check out,
be it on a session-fee or dealer-demo basis.

I'm a bit south of Detroit and willing to travel within the region of
Michigan/Ohio.

If anyone can help me out or recommend someone in my area I'd really
appreciate it.

While I've relied on a 416 and TLM103 with Fearn and Great River pres,
I've been
considering the wide world of other possible options that might suit my
particular
voiceprint better...(including different preamp combos) and also
wouldn't mind
being able to review some multitrack software apps to move up from
Deck/Peak
and a couple of other aging standalone DAWs, but the mic/processing
issue is
my first priority as far as signal path.
