Default TANNOY SYSTEM 10 Studio Monitors

John, since you are SO VERY interested in my Tannoy sale please research and
let me know the difference between the two systems other than there are two
systems. That would be what is called "value added".

Also, check your ISP as your email address continually kicks back. Below are
a few examples when I tried to communicate with you privately. I never
received any email from you. I just hear from you in public as you slam my ad.

John,

Thanks for your concerns about the Tannoys. My page was updated after

your
first comment to clearly show the review link is for the Tannoy System 10

II.
Yet you failed to check this before your comment below. Both the review

and
the Recommended list clearly indicate the System 10 II which is like the

System
10. I can't even find a distinction between the two systems on the Tannoy

web
page.

If a manufacturer designates a newer model with a "II", it implies a
significant change to the product making a recommendation of the newer model
irrelevant in evaluating the earlier model.

Please refer to the link I included in a PRIVATE email to you on 08/22/03:

-As I emailed you before, these references are for the System 10 DMT II. If
-you check this link
-http://www.tannoyna.com/professional/history/timeline.html , you will see
-that there are two models - System 10 DMT and the newer System 10 DMT II.
-Since you did not correct your ad, is it safe to assume you have the newer
-System 10 DMT II?

-John

When I saw no follow-up to your original ad to indicate that the links did
not describe the speakers you were trying to sell, I posted a follow-up to
your ad asking you if the speakers you were trying to sell were the DMT II
and you replied that they were the DMT. You are still using both links to
the newer version to promote the older version that you are trying to sell
which I still think is misleading.

I think you owe me a public apology.

I don't think so.

I'm also curious why your email address is not useable? This same thing

occurs
with someone else who slams people here.

I'm not aware of any problems with my email, and I resent the accusation
that I am trying to slam you. If that was my intention, I wouldn't have
pointed out in private email what I thought was an error on your part. I
only posted the follow-up when I saw that you continued to use the
misleading links in your description.

What a great studio quality monitor system at almost 1/3 of original list
price. The speakers are near mint too!

Caution! Be aware that in the description of the Tannoy System 10 DMT
speakers, the links provided by Mr. Drescher to a Stereophile

Recommendation
and a favorable Innerear review are for the later version System 10 DMT

II,
NOT the earlier System 10 DMT that this dealer is selling. Mr. Drescher

is
aware of this inconsistency but apparently does not see a problem.
