Default M-Audio 410, Cakewalk Sonar 2, and SoundBlaster Audigy Working Together

I am considering buying the $400 M-Audio 410 soundcard that I recently
saw at a local Guitar Center store. Of course the employees working
there claimed it was the best for its price but I wanted to make sure
I would get what I really needed. So I have posted here to see if
anyone (not salesmen!) can help me.

First of all, I have Cakewalk Sonar 2 and SoundBlaster Audigy. The
main point the salesman made to me was that SoundBlaster is to
computer-music purists what Microsoft is to Linux-users! But I value
SoundBlaster for its SoundFont ability and if possible I would like to
keep it AND get a new device like M-Audio 410 for recording my guitars
(which I run through a GeNetX DigiTech) and vocal tracks, all on Sonar
2.

Any suggestions about what I should get? Is M-Audio 410 what I need?

Thank you.
