Kiwi vs. Monster
Trying to get a small studio up and running. Anybody have thoughts on
Kiwi vs. Monster cables for mic inputs? Will probably run to Avalon pre's. Any other prominent cable manufacturers worth a look? Thanks |

Kiwi vs. Monster
I honestly have tested both of these cables thoroughly. The result? Neither
wins. Mogami is better. |

The wonderful thing about high grade balanced inputs and outputs is that cable effects mostly go away. Unless you're running thousands of feet, just go with something like the Canare Star-Quad. The Monster cables are decently made midrange cables, but they cost five to ten times what the other midrange cables cost. You're paying for their marketing not for the cables. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
