Think I gonna review this? Hah! I'm glad it's here, however, as it
let me hear Harvey's voice for the first time. I would have guessed
it was deeper.

Oh, I forgot. What's with the delay on your intro Harvey? Couldn't just
record it straight?

Actually, my voice is deeper than Roger Norman's voice, and that's his voice you
hear announcing the test tones.

To hear Harvey's voice you'd have to order the alt.music.4-track second compilation,
where Harvey demonstrates how he arranged and mixed a song from a so-so fireman
brigade band into something listenable. He started with the rough mix of the band
itself and then added the tracks as he went along. Very enjoyable and educating.

THAT'S where I've heard it. Thanks, Erwin. I have that set and spent a
while in his virtual classroom.

If I could request a CD series, it would be skilled engineers doing mixing
sessions. Understanding tracking would require video of mic placement 'n'
stuff, but mixing is all ears. Harvey's lesson was invaluable.

I'm constantly stumped at why someone hasn't put something like this out.
It's probably the most requested item I see regarding recording. I'm sure
anyone would be loathe to put out any kind of project like that today though
knowing how easily and quickly someone is going to post it on peer-to-peer
within an hour of it's release. I wish the end listeners would realize they
are cutting their own throats when they do this.

And I was farting around, so you won't hear my voice until I get Broadway
Billy's finished.
